What Is Electric current? Or Electric current

The Directed flow of electrons Or charged is called Electric Current.

Let's Start understand About Electric current

figure shown in above the Copper strip has a large number of free Electrons. When Electric Pressure or voltage is applied then free Electrons being negatively Charged, will start moving towards the positive terminal around the circuit shown fig. This directed flow of electrons is called Electric current.

Unit Of Current

The strength Of electric current is 'I' is the rate of flow of electrons i.e. Charge flowing per second
Current, I=Q/T
Where Q= Charge measured in coulombs
             T= Time in Second
Therefore unit of Coulomb/Sec Or Ampere

          I=Q/T (Coulomb/second)
Let Q=1 coulomb and T=1 second

         I=Q/T
           =1/1
            =1 Ampere
